the men of the 506pir 101first airbourne easy company did more in the whole ETO than any other company in the whole army.
easy company lived through bastogne which was the worst place they were during the whole war.

I wouldn’t say that. Don’t minimize the efforts of whole companies and divisions just because Easy Company got a very good miniseries about their experience. If anything the series should be held as a testament to all the men who fought on the front lines in the ETO.

they had it tough… civilians in warsaw and stalingrad had it tougher. < the children that survived were living in burrows under fallen buildings and would not look at any recsuer in the face when they got rescued. lord knows what they when through for months/years.

I no… its sad to realize. When we learn about world war two the kids just act like it didnt matter. Only if they new the sacrifices all sides made. What really happened and all the blood that was shed from Auschiwitz to Island hopping. Only if more kids were like us

God bless these brave men who had enough guts to put on the uniform and head out to an unknown country to fight an unknown enemy. Not to mention those who sacrificed their lives for our country. God bless the U.S.
